COSURCA – Cooperativa del Sur del Cauca (Coffee)

Since 1993, this second-grade cooperative, joined by 12 organizations that integrate 1,500 families of small producers from the Colombian Massif, center and south of department of Cauca, has been developing sustainable agriculture, with an emphasis on organic products, agroindustry, and solidarity-based marketing. They promote community organization, solidarity, independence, autonomy, peace, and self-recognition of peasant, indigenous, and Afro-descendant peoples.
